Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Embark on an impactful contract position as an ABA Teacher utilizing your skills as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This dynamic opportunity is located near Newark, NJ, where you'll play a key role in supporting students by implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies within a school setting. Ideal candidates possess a passion for supporting children and adolescents, a strong foundation in behavior intervention, and the ability to function collaboratively with an interdisciplinary educational team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working in schools or educational settings is highly desirable Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies Ability to assist and implement individualized education and behavior plans Proven communication and collaboration skills Professionalism and adaptability to meet changing student needs Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
Implement ABA programs designed by supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students' behavioral and academic development Collect accurate, consistent data and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate positive outcomes Utilize positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to promote desired behaviors Assist with classroom management and individualized instruction as directed
