We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team and support young children, particularly children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays. Position Summary The BCBA will provide behavioral assessment, consultation, treatment planning, caregiver coaching, staff support, and ongoing data-based evaluation of services for children in early childhood settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong understanding of autism, developmental differences, positive behavior supports, and family-centered practices. Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments and other behavior assessments as appropriate. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention and support plans. Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral and developmental data. Monitor progress and modify interventions based on data and child needs. Provide direct and indirect behavioral consultation and support. Coach parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals in evidence-based behavioral strategies. Collaborate with developmental interventionists, educators, families, and other service providers. Support children in developing communication, social, adaptive, play, self-help, and school-readiness skills. Promote positive behavior supports and proactive classroom strategies. Assist educators and caregivers in understanding the function of challenging behaviors. Develop strategies that reduce barriers to participation and increase children's independence. Model appropriate strategies for staff and caregivers. Participate in team meetings and collaborative planning. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes. Communicate professionally and respectfully with families and interdisciplinary team members. Ensure services are provided in accordance with ethical standards and applicable regulations. Maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy of children and families. Stay current with evidence-based practices in applied behavior analysis, autism, and early childhood development.
Qualifications Required:
Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field. Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions and positive behavior support. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with families and interdisciplinary professionals. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data. Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and family-centered services.
Preferred:
Experience working with children ages birth through eight. Experience in early intervention, preschool, childcare, or early childhood special education. Experience providing caregiver coaching and staff training. Experience with functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans. Familiarity with naturalistic teaching strategies and embedding interventions into everyday routines and activities. Experience working within interdisciplinary teams.
