Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a qualified and reliable BCBA to provide ongoing supervision and support for two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) working with students in a school setting. The BCBA will provide supervision, observation, clinical guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the RBTs are implementing behavior-analytic services appropriately and consistently. Supervision Requirements The BCBA will be responsible for providing ongoing supervision to 2 RBTs .
Supervision must include:
At least 2 real-time, face-to-face supervision contacts per month , conducted through Zoom or another approved real-time videoconferencing platform . At least 1 of the monthly supervision contacts must be individual supervision with the RBT. At least 1 supervision contact per month must include direct observation of the RBT providing services to a client. Supervision may be conducted through Zoom or another real-time videoconferencing platform . In-person/on-site observation is preferred when feasible, particularly for school-based services. The BCBA is responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation of supervision and observation activities. Example for a School-Based RBT If an RBT works approximately 30 hours per week , that is approximately 120 hours of behavior-analytic service per month . The BCBA will coordinate with the RBT to establish a consistent supervision schedule that meets applicable BACB requirements and provides meaningful clinical support. Responsibilities Provide ongoing supervision to 2 RBTs Conduct required individual and real-time supervision contacts Observe RBTs providing services to students Provide constructive feedback and clinical guidance Monitor RBT implementation of behavior-analytic programs Review data and provide recommendations as appropriate Support RBT competency development and professional growth Collaborate with RBTs, school personnel, families, and other members of the treatment team as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely supervision documentation Ensure supervision activities are completed in accordance with applicable BACB requirements Qualifications Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB Experience providing RBT supervision Experience working in a school-based or special education setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable and responsive Ability to provide consistent supervision and timely feedback Comfortable providing supervision through Zoom or another real-time videoconferencing platform Willingness to conduct in-person observation when feasible Ideal Candidate We are looking for a BCBA who is dependable, responsive, and comfortable working collaboratively with RBTs in a school environment. The ideal candidate will provide meaningful clinical supervision, establish a consistent supervision schedule, and support the professional development of the RBTs.
