In this rewarding role, you'll work directly with children in educational settings, helping them develop social, academic, and behavioral skills that shape their futures. The position is based near West Orange, NJ, offering an opportunity to serve a diverse and engaged school community.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience implementing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques in schools or pediatric settings Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) a plus Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and families Compassionate, patient mindset and commitment to supporting student growth Ability to follow behavior intervention plans with attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions to students under supervision of a BCBA Collect and record accurate data on student behaviors and responses Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans in classroom or school settings Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and staff to promote positive outcomes Support communication development, social interactions, and daily living skills Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance your skills
