Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a compassionate support professional working closely with students in a dynamic school environment. If you are passionate about helping children succeed and have experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional, this contract position is a chance to make a real difference in students' daily lives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current RBT certification in good standing Previous experience working with children in educational or behavioral settings Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques Ability to follow behavior intervention plans with consistency and professionalism Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and documentation Flexible, patient, and dedicated to student development
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or lead educators Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, encouraging their academic and social-emotional growth Collect data accurately and consistently to monitor student progress Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment Communicate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families regarding student progress and challenges Support students with a variety of behavioral or learning needs, adapting strategies as required This contract position allows you to expand your expertise in behavioral interventions within a supportive school setting.
