Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your primary focus will be to provide high-quality care and support to enhance the lives of those you serve through applied behavior analysis techniques. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors accurately. Assist in developing care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide direct support in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Foster positive relationships with clients and their families to encourage engagement and cooperation. Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors. Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to all relevant medical terminology standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is essential. Familiarity with medical records management and medical terminology is a plus. Strong understanding of behavioral health concepts and special education practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and patience.
