Job Description

Total Education Solutions seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services for children and adults with special needs in school, clinic, home, and community settings. Under BCBA supervision, you will implement behavior intervention plans, collect and graph data, support functional communication and social skills, manage challenging behaviors using evidence-based strategies, and collaborate closely with families, teachers, and a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in school, clinic, home, and community settings Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision Collect, record, and summarize behavioral data accurately and consistently Support development of communication, social, and daily living skills Use evidence-based strategies to reduce challenging behaviors safely and ethically Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members Follow ethical and confidentiality standards and TES clinical protocols Participate in supervision, training, and professional development activities Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Behavior data collection and charting Behavior Intervention Plan implementation Functional communication training support Crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques Use of reinforcement and prompting strategies Basic progress note and report documentation Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Electronic health/education record systems Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA/FERPA
