Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Advance your career by supporting young learners as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school-based environment. This contract opportunity focuses on providing essential services to two multiple disabilities units, working with students in grades K-3. Your expertise will be vital during a period of need, from now through mid-October, ensuring students receive high-quality, individualized behavioral support.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Knowledge and experience working with children with multiple disabilities, preferably in a school setting Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective behavioral intervention plans for young students Strong collaboration skills to work with special education teachers, aides, and school leadership Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills A commitment to fostering growth and progress in children with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct BCBA support to multiple disabilities classrooms (grades K-3) Conduct behavioral assessments and develop tailored strategies to enhance student success Train and guide classroom staff in proper use of behavioral interventions and techniques Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as needed to meet evolving student requirements Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and legal standards Serve as a resource and advocate for best practices in behavior management within the educational team This is a meaningful contract position that allows you to make a real difference in the lives of students and staff.
