As a Behavioral Support Technician, you'll provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other behavioral health challenges. Responsibilities Responsible for supporting the therapeutic milieu and/or providing individual therapeutic behavioral services under the direction of a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor, by ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, clients are supervised, that safety is maintained, and clients and families are treated with respect and dignity. Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring, ensuring their comfort and safety. Conduct medical documentation and record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining accurate medical records and data collection. Respond effectively to crisis situations through crisis intervention and crisis management strategies, ensuring safety for clients and staff alike. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, special educators, and medical professionals—to coordinate care plans and document progress. Takes initiative to help the team, is flexible when asked to assist in other areas. Consistently demonstrates positive and affirming behaviors even when addressing conflict or stressful situations. Experience Prior experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is highly preferred. Experience in special education settings or social work environments is advantageous. Familiarity with medical procedures such as vital signs measurement, medication administration, and medical documentation practices.. Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Pay:
