Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an educational setting near Allentown, PA. This dynamic position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a positive impact through evidence-based behavioral interventions. You'll play an integral part in the educational journey of students, collaborating closely with a team of educators and other specialists to foster success for learners with behavioral and developmental needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience applying ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies in schools or similar settings preferred Ability to effectively implement behavior intervention plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capacity for patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm when working with children and young adults
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 behavior support and intervention to students under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Collect and document accurate data on student behaviors and program effectiveness Collaborate with educational staff to maintain consistency in behavioral strategies Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required Support classroom routines and facilitate student engagement in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) Communicate progress and observations to supervising clinicians and school staff
