Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Prior experience working in school settings preferred Strong understanding of data collection and behavior modification principles Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to consult and collaborate with diverse teams Ability to develop individualized and group behavior management programs Professionalism, adaptability, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Advise teachers and program supervisors on observing students and recording behavioral data Guide the development of effective data collection techniques for targeted behaviors Create comprehensive, written descriptions of individual behavior support programs Provide ongoing consultation for the development of classroom-wide and individualized behavior management strategies Collaborate on IEP revisions to integrate or adjust behavior intervention plans Attend IEP meetings with teachers, supervisors, and parents to explain and review behavior programs Train staff in safe, passive restraint methods, supporting practical implementation when appropriate Fulfill additional tasks as delegated by program administrators
