Job Description
Behavioral TechnicianLocation Elementary school settings within the local school district Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to provide direct support to students in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and school personnel to help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct behavioral support to students with autism and other behavioral needs. Assist in managing challenging behaviors, including elopement and occasional aggression. Implement behavior intervention strategies in collaboration with classroom staff and support teams. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavioral incidents, and interventions. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Support students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals. Qualifications Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges preferred. Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in high-stress situations. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and committed to student success. Ability to follow established behavior support plans and school protocols. TB Test:
Must be completed in accordance with clearance requirements and submitted within 30 days of the start date. Available Openings Multiple Behavioral Technician opportunities are available at elementary school locations. Candidates should be comfortable working one-on-one with students and providing behavioral support throughout the school day.
