The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to improve the quality of life for our clients. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Implement and monitor behavioral interventions, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide support and guidance in implementing behavior strategies at home and in community settings. Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members involved in the delivery of services. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any modifications made during therapy sessions in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and determine appropriate interventions. Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development activities. Requirements Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles. Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health care. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients. Previous experience in patient care or behavioral therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
