PPS Or BCBA preferred•Hybrid position We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to support children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will help foster positive behavioral changes, enhance social skills, and improve overall quality of life. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments Experience in developing individualized behavior interventions. Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in therapy approaches Conduct intake assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations for new clients to determine appropriate treatment strategies Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in documentation Provide patient-centered care by engaging with children and individuals with disabilities in a respectful, supportive manner Provide direct support to students through 1:1 behavior interventions. Requirements Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education practices Ability to collect, interpret, and utilize data effectively to inform treatment plans Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and medical records management Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and other stakeholders Certification or training in behavioral therapy or related fields is preferred ongoing professional development is encouraged Join us to empower individuals through compassionate care, innovative interventions, and a commitment to excellence.
