We're looking for a passionate BCBA to join our team - whether you're early in your career or looking for a more flexible, supportive environment. We believe in mentorship, manageable caseloads, and giving our clinicians the freedom to do meaningful work. About the Role As a BCBA at Vilij ABA, you'll work with families of children diagnosed with the ASD diagnosis across clinic, in-home, and telehealth settings. Your work will include conducting assessments, developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans, training and mentoring RBTs, and partnering with parents to generalize skills. This is a hybrid role with flexible hours — we'll work together to build a schedule that fits you and your clients. What We Offer Flexible scheduling — build a schedule that works for your life Hybrid work model across clinic, telehealth, and in-home services Health insurance for eligible employees Paid time off CEU reimbursement and professional development opportunities Mentorship and ongoing support from our Clinical Director — especially great for newer BCBAs Manageable caseloads — sustained quality over quantity Collaborative team culture with regular case consultations Responsibilities Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for new and current clients Develop, write, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans Oversee client caseloads and track progress toward treatment goals Provide direct services in the clinic setting, remote, and in-home settings Train and mentor RBTs on program implementation, new protocols, and BIP strategies Deliver consistent parent training to help families generalize skills at home and in the community Collaborate with fellow BCBAs and attend regular meetings with the Lead BCBA Supervise practicum students as applicable Qualifications — Required Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB Illinois LBA license or eligibility to obtain Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation Eligibility to work in the United States Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start) Qualifications — Preferred but Not Required We're open to candidates at different stages of their career. If you're newer to the field, we'll provide the mentorship and support to help you grow.
BCBA I:
Prior caseload of at least 4 families
BCBA II:
Prior caseload of 8 or more families with broader clinical experience Experience in a clinic-based setting Experience in a remote/telehealth setting Experience developing and evaluating client assessments and treatment plans Experience training behavior therapists in ABA principles Who You Are You have a genuine passion for working with children of all ages and across a variety of diagnoses You're a strong communicator — both written and verbal You bring creativity, flexibility, and a problem-solving mindset to your work You're reliable, consistent, and committed to your team and your clients You're eager to learn and grow Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull as needed during sessions Compensation Pay is commensurate with experience and credentials.
