In this vital role, you will apply your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral psychological assessments to develop personalized intervention plans. You will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral health outcomes, especially for those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Duties Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations, to identify behavioral challenges and strengths. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors. Perform patient assessments and coordinate intake procedures to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Collect, analyze, and document medical records, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Communicate effectively with clients' families, schools, and healthcare providers to facilitate understanding of treatment goals and progress updates. Maintain detailed medical documentation, participate in team meetings, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives related to behavioral health services. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field; certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent is required. Proven experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental conditions. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, functional assessments, and behavior intervention strategies. Experience conducting behavioral psychological assessments, functional assessments (including FBA), and diagnostic evaluations. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and medical records management under HIPAA guidelines.
