Job Description

Full‑Time | Hybrid (Virginia) | Travel Required Support Services of Virginia (SSVA) is seeking a Behavioral Consultation Coordinator to help develop, lead, and actively participate in our Behavioral Consultation (BC) program across Virginia. This role blends direct behavioral consultation, clinical leadership, and program development in a values‑driven organization committed to person‑centered, trauma‑informed practice. This role is designed as a launching point for people looking to start and grow their career in positive behavior support. Eligible to provideDD Waiver Behavioral Consultation services in Virginia Positive Behavior Supports Facilitator (PBSF) Endorsement preferred Strong clinical judgment, organization,leadershipand communication skills Reliable transportation as position requirestravelthroughoutVirginia Commitment to ethical, person‑centered, trauma‑informed practice What You'll Do Coordinate and overseeBehavioralConsultation services across SSVA Maintain an assigned caseload and deliver direct behavioral consultation services. Mentor and lead Behavioral Consultants (staff and contractors) Teach and reinforce key competencies (positive behavior support, trauma‑informed care, person‑centered practices) Helpbuild and grow theBC programthrough planning, collaboration, and innovation Oversee documentation quality, audit readiness, and compliance Represent SSVA inDBHDS roundtables, professional organizations, and training.
