Active BCBA certification Professional experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and designing evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Familiarity supporting K-age 22 students with intellectual and developmental disabilities Skill in coaching and training classroom staff, teachers, and assistants Proficient in implementing de-escalation techniques, such as Safety-Care procedures and least restrictive interventions Strong competency monitoring, analyzing, and applying behavioral data to program decisions Effective communicator, able to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and families

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs rooted in current behavioral science Train and support education staff on BIP implementation and ongoing behavioral support Provide direct support during behavioral incidents, prioritizing proactive and least restrictive approaches Collaborate with teaching staff, related service providers, and families for comprehensive student support Review and interpret student progress data to refine interventions and instruction Participate in and help coordinate professional development, sharing and gaining insights from peers This role offers the unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your expertise will empower students, staff, and families.
