Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Position Summary Kidz With Abilities is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team. The BCBA will provide clinical oversight of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the highest quality of clinical care while maintaining compliance with BACB, Medicaid, and state regulations. Essential ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), skill assessments, and behavioral evaluations. Develop individualized, evidence-based ABA treatment plans based on assessment results. Establish measurable treatment goals and behavior intervention plans. Analyze assessment data and adjust treatment recommendations accordingly. Monitor client progress through ongoing data collection and clinical analysis. Modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and changing client needs. Ensure all interventions adhere to BACB ethical standards and evidence-based practices. Supervision Provide direct supervision and clinical oversight of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Conduct competency assessments and performance evaluations for RBTs. Observe treatment sessions and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Ensure supervision requirements established by the BACB are consistently met. Mentor newly hired clinical staff and assist with onboarding. Family Training Provide parent and caregiver training using evidence-based ABA strategies. Educate families on behavior management techniques and treatment goals. Collaborate with caregivers to promote consistency across home, school, and community settings. Maintain regular communication regarding client progress. Collaboration Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, physicians, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings. Coordinate services to ensure continuity of care. Documentation & Compliance Complete all clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines. Maintain treatment notes, supervision records, assessments, and progress reports. Prepare authorization requests, treatment updates, and reauthorization documentation. Ensure compliance with BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA, Medicaid, commercial insurance requirements, and state regulations. Participate in quality assurance and compliance initiatives. Program Development Assist in developing and improving ABA programming. Participate in staff meetings, clinical trainings, and continuing education. Support clinic growth through community outreach and professional collaboration. Maintain current knowledge of ABA research and best practices. Qualifications Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Active South Carolina Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license or eligibility to obtain licensure. Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field. Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to supervise multiple RBTs while managing a clinical caseload. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and data collection systems. Preferred Qualifications Pediatric outpatient clinic experience. Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation. Experience providing parent training and interdisciplinary collaboration. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred). Physical Requirements Ability to actively engage with pediatric clients during therapy sessions. Ability to lift, carry, or assist children weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary. Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the clinic during treatment sessions.
