In this vital role, you will work directly with children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, promoting independence and self-care skills. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement individualized behavior management strategies based on client care plans and ABA protocols. Support the delivery of direct behavioral therapy under supervision, ensuring adherence to ethical standards such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency in treatment approaches and progress updates. Maintain detailed behavioral records, and notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy. Participate in ongoing training related to special education, autism spectrum disorders support, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous. Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients through various therapeutic activities. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
