Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior management plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their behavioral goals through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, ensuring a positive and enriching environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors accurately and consistently. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of client information. Assist in the development of behavior management strategies tailored to each client's needs. Provide support in various settings, including home, school, or community environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and outcomes. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health. Experience Previous experience in behavioral health or special education is preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is essential. Familiarity with medical documentation practices related to behavioral therapy is a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to manage challenging behaviors while maintaining a calm and supportive demeanor.
