In this vital role, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy directly in clients' homes, supporting their growth and independence. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster positive behavioral change while collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in behavioral health, special education, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) to create lasting impacts. Header Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines, fostering independence. Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies aligned with their care plans and supporting their learning needs. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to provide updates on progress and address concerns. Adhere strictly to professional ethical standards outlined in the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Header Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date. Experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Strong skills in data collection, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate medical records. Prior home-based behavioral experience is highly preferred, along with familiarity working within school environments or community settings. Ability to work independently in clients' homes while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards. Excellent client communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
