Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting students in an educational setting near Fort Worth, TX. Utilize your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis to make a real difference for young learners, working alongside dedicated educators and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required Experience delivering 1:1 or small group behavior intervention within school, clinic, or home settings Knowledge of ABA principles and practical experience with data collection and behavior plan implementation Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation abilities Must be adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic about fostering student success Ability to work independently and under supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Primary Responsibilities:
Directly implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans for students as developed by the supervising BCBA Collect ongoing data on student progress and behavior, reporting observations accurately and consistently Support teachers and classroom staff in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment Participate in team meetings, providing valuable input and communicating student needs or successes Assist in developing supportive strategies for students presenting with challenging behaviors As an RBT in this contract role, you'll experience the gratification of helping students achieve meaningful progress—knowing your contributions are valued each day.
