Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support and education to clients, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA. Provide direct care to clients, focusing on enhancing their social skills, communication, and daily living skills. Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation of behavioral changes and interventions. Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques to promote positive behaviors. Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to client care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Experience Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred. Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles is highly desirable. Experience in patient care settings, including working with children, is a plus. Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral therapy outcomes. Ability to develop rapport with clients while demonstrating patience and empathy in challenging situations.
