Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Allen Behavior Services Lufkin, TX 75901 From $18 an hour - Part-time From $18 an hour - Part-time Overview Allen Behavior Services is currently hiring passionate and dependable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our dynamic team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities to by providing in-home ABA therapy services to children and families. As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with clients in their homes under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), to implement evidence-based, customized treatment plans that promote skill development, behavior reduction, and support positive behavior change by fostering growth and independence through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Responsibilities Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services in client homes. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and other self-care routines, fostering independence and confidence in real-life learning situations. Implement individualized treatment plans designed by supervising BCBA. Accurately collect data on client progress and session outcomes. Use positive reinforcmeent strategies to promote learning and independence. Collect and record data to monitor client progress during sessions. Maintain detailed documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Support clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders by applying behavior management techniques tailored to each individual client's needs. Participate in training and supervision sessions as required. Communicate effectively with families and supervising clinicians to provide updated on progress reinforce strategies at home, and promote collaborative care plans. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Skills Prior experience in ABA therapy or working with children with autism or developmental delays. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and effective implementation of ABA therapy protocols. Familiarity with home-based service delivery. Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health and ABA terminology relevant to client care. Ability to assist with ADLs and support client indpendence through client-centered care approaches. Knowledge of documentation and records standards, management, and confidentiality requirements such as HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills - empathetic listening, clear explanations, and positive reinforcement strategies. Providing flexible support tailored to individual home environments.
