Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team at Great Strides ABA. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and autism by implementing behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct 1:1 therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
- Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively
- Understanding of care plans and their implementation
