Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for skilled behavioral support professionals to make a difference in educational settings near San Marcos, TX! We're seeking two full-time professionals with strong experience as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or paraprofessionals, ready to provide dedicated 1:1 support for students and assist with overall classroom needs when required. The first opening is at the elementary level, focusing on young learners and early intervention. The second is in a secondary high school environment, engaging with older students and supporting them in their academic and behavioral development. Both roles offer a dynamic setting where each day brings new opportunities to create a positive impact.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current RBT credential and/or prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment required Demonstrated background supporting students with behavioral needs Experience providing 1:1 and group support in educational settings Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills Adaptability to shift between individual and classroom support as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions and instructional support for assigned students Assist teachers with implementing effective classroom management strategies Collect data and monitor student progress on behavioral and academic goals Support the overall classroom environment to promote positive student engagement Follow established behavior intervention plans with consistency and fidelity Take on a rewarding contract position where your skills can directly enhance students' learning journeys and growth.
