Job Summary/Overview:
The Behavior Technician provides 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician implements individualized treatment plans, collects accurate data, and supports skill development while reducing challenging behaviors. This role involves close collaboration with families and team members, ongoing training, and adherence to ethical and agency standards. (We also have part-time positions open.)Reporting Structure:
Reports to Clinic Manager (BCBA), Supervising BCBA, Program Supervisor, and/orDirector of Clinical Services Responsibilities and Duties:
Provides high-quality 1:1 direct ABA services to clients with autism in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings under the supervision of a BCBA Implements individualized treatment and skill-building programs developed by a BCBA or supervising behavior consultant. Applies positive behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and increase adaptive skills Accurately collects and maintains client data in accordance with treatment protocols and accurately documents services provided via session notes. Collaborates effectively with caregivers, BCBAs, and agency team members. Delivers therapy services aligned with competency-based evaluations. Participates in ongoing training related to behavior analysis, crisis intervention, and professional development. Delivers therapy services aligned with competency-based evaluations. In the event of client cancellation, administrative tasks may be assigned (e.g., material preparation, organization of clinic, sanitizing toys, etc.)Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) Previous experience providing ABA therapy (preferred) Strong flexibility, adaptability, and time management skills Ability to follow clinical direction and work collaboratively with a teamTravel and Transportation:
Ability to travel to multiple work sites and client homes, with reliable transportation required.Safety and Health:
Must pass health screenings, including TB testing, and obtain required vaccination (if requested)Background Check:
Must clear criminal record checks and Child Abuse Registry checkPhysical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the clinic Must be comfortable spending significant time on their feet. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds if required Ability to engage in active play and therapy activities with clientsWork Environment:
Location will be based upon client needs and may include clinic, home, school, and/or community settings Schedule may vary depending on client and staffing needs Consistent availability during clinic operating hours (e.g., Monday- Friday 9am
