Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professionals Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in various settings such as home, school, or community environments, ensuring consistency across environments Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and manage challenging behaviors effectively Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Communicate regularly with clients' families and team members to update on progress, share observations, and coordinate care plans Skills Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD) Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence skills Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining accurate medical records Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and client care documentation Experience working in home-based or school settings supporting individuals with disabilities Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about behavioral health who want to contribute positively to the lives of those they serve.
