05-01-2026 About the Role The ABA Therapy Registered Behavior Technician provides direct supportive services to children and youth experiencing mental, behavioral, or emotional challenges that result in functional impairment. This role primarily supports individuals diagnosed with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Down Syndrome, while also assisting children and adolescents with mental health conditions including ADHD, PTSD, ODD, Disruptive Mood Disorder, and Anxiety/Depression. Services are delivered in home and community settings, focusing on education, training, and behavioral support to help clients achieve positive change, sustain progress, and foster success within their families and environments. Responsibilities Provide direct ABA therapy services to children and adolescents in home and community settings Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising clinicians Support clients diagnosed with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Down Syndrome, ADHD, PTSD, ODD, Disruptive Mood Disorder, and Anxiety/Depression Utilize behavior intervention strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and increase adaptive skills Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavioral outcomes Assist clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills Provide crisis response support as needed Collaborate with families to reinforce behavioral strategies and promote consistency Participate in supervision and ongoing training to maintain service quality Maintain professional documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards Support clients in sustaining progress across multiple environments including home and community Attend required meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities Required Qualifications 2+ years' experience working with children with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Down Syndrome, or related conditions Availability to work evenings, weekends, and provide crisis response support Ability to work independently in home and community-based settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to supporting children and families experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges Compensation & Benefits 20-29 hours a week Flexible scheduling, daytime/evening/weekends $16- 18/hour Rewarding work and supportive team environment
