Racine, WI - Sonnenberg School | 2015 Franklin St. Job description Sonnenberg Consultants is hiring Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians to join our ABA team at Sonnenberg School in Racine, WI . This is a part-time, school-based ABA position with a fixed Monday-Thursday schedule, paid training, and no nights or weekends. You'll work directly with students in a structured school environment, supporting individualized goals related to communication, independence, learning, and behavior. No prior ABA experience is required for entry-level candidates. We provide paid training, ongoing support, and supervision from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You'll help students with diverse support needs participate in classroom activities, follow daily routines, build new skills, communicate effectively, and work toward individualized goals outlined by their clinical team. This is an active role . You may spend portions of the day moving between classroom activities, working at a table, playing or engaging with students, or working on the floor. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, BCBAs, and other team members to provide consistent support throughout the school day. Every student is different, so while the school schedule is predictable, the day-to-day experience can vary based on student needs and goals. What you'll do Implement individualized ABA programs with guidance and supervision from BCBAs Support students during classroom activities, transitions, routines, and other school-based activities Use structured activities and evidence-based strategies to support skill development Help students build communication, social, academic, and daily living skills Follow individualized behavior support plans and respond to challenging behavior according to training and established procedures Collect and document information about student activities and progress using provided technology Communicate observations and questions to supervisors and members of the student's team Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment for students and coworkers Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and feedback What we're looking for Required qualifications: High school diploma or GED At least 18 years old Reliable transportation Ability to be active throughout the school day, including floor-based activities Ability to lift up to approximately 20 lbs. Ability to pass required background checks Helpful, but not required: Experience working with children or individuals with developmental differences Experience in education, caregiving, behavioral health, or human services Coursework or education in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field Previous ABA or Behavior Technician experience Why join Sonnenberg?
