This full-time contract opportunity places you at the heart of a supportive, self-contained K2 special education classroom near Martinsburg, WV. You'll collaborate closely with a BCBA and a team dedicated to making a meaningful impact for young learners with significant needs. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through the 202627 school year, offering the chance to build strong, lasting relationships with students and staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working with young children, ideally in a special education or school setting Ability to provide individualized and group support Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to building a structured, nurturing classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute daily within a self-contained K2 special education classroom of approximately eight students with significant needs Offer support for students as they transition into general education settings Deliver 1:1 support to individual students as needed, responding to unique challenges Collaborate with the classroom BCBA, utilizing expert coaching and established structures to implement best practices Foster a supportive atmosphere for students, empowering them to reach their goals If youre passionate about helping children thrive and eager to work in a collaborative, purpose-driven setting, this could be your next career-defining opportunity.
