This position is ideal for a technician with hospital biomedical experience who is comfortable working independently, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting clinical staff. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on biomedical equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures Complete inspections, safety testing, and functional verification Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders Assist with equipment installations, deployments, and inventory projects Communicate professionally with clinical staff and hospital personnel Follow Joint Commission, hospital, and manufacturer standards Work independently while collaborating with the hospital Biomed team Equipment May Include Philips patient monitoring systems Baxter Sigma Spectrum infusion pumps Masimo monitoring devices EKG machines Defibrillators General biomedical equipment used in acute care hospitals Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent military/technical training or CBET certificate At least 1-2 years of hospital BMET experience preferred Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting medical equipment Strong documentation and computer skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience with Philips patient monitoring equipment Experience with Baxter infusion pumps Familiarity with Masimo monitoring systems Experience using CMMS systems (AIMS, Nuvolo, Medimizer, TMS, etc.) AAMI certification (CBET) is a plus Position Details Full-time contract Monday-Friday schedule Immediate opening Long-term opportunity for the right candidate Hospital onboarding requirements (background check, health screening, and vaccinations) may be required.
