Job Description
Bio-One, LLC (A Trace Medical Company) is seeking a dedicated Medical Equipment Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of vital bio-medical equipment that supports and improves patient health. Key Responsibilities Diagnosis and Troubleshooting Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of bio-medical equipment, including but not limited to life support ventilators and general respiratory equipment. Service and Maintenance Perform regular preventive maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to equipment to ensure they meet all manufacturers' safety and performance standards. Utilize knowledge of hand tools to properly assemble, disassemble, and service equipment. Testing and Documentation Verify the functionality of equipment post-service to ensure reliability and accuracy. Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted. Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in the biomedical equipment industry to provide the best service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Candidates with a combination of relevant work experience and education will also be considered). Basic understanding of technical and mechanical equipment; assembly experience preferred. Knowledge of hand tools and usage required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. Reliable transportation and a current driver's license. Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 25-30 pounds regularly. Ability to stand and move about the facility regularly for 8 hours or more per day.
