Job Description

The Medical Equipment Technician provides cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly following manufacturer specifications. They perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair a variety of medical devices. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues. Complete service documentation accurately and on time for billing and compliance purposes. Educate clinical staff on equipment operation and functionality. Safely loads, secures and delivers medical equipment to customers. Ships and receives medical equipment and supplies. Resolves customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Mechanical or troubleshooting experience. Experience using tools or fixing things (at work, school, military, or hobbies) is a plus. Willing to learn and follow instructions. Basic computer skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license and safe driving record. Willing to travel as needed. Able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
Pay:
$23-25/hr
