Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac ECHO/Vascular Sonographer Manager, where you will lead and oversee the cardiac and vascular imaging services within a high-volume, fast-paced medical environment. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of exceptional diagnostic imaging and patient care. You will manage a team of skilled sonographers, coordinate complex procedures, and uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in cardiovascular diagnostics. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes by facilitating accurate diagnoses through advanced echocardiography and vascular ultrasound imaging techniques. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the cardiac ECHO and vascular ultrasound departments, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient throughput. Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of sonographers, fostering professional development and maintaining high standards of technical proficiency. Oversee the performance of advanced diagnostic procedures including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound imaging, echo bubble studies, dobutamine echo, and cardiac rhythm analysis. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, aseptic techniques, and medical regulations to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Manage equipment operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art cardiovascular technology and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for accurate image storage and retrieval. Monitor quality assurance metrics, review diagnostic evaluations for accuracy, and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery. Requirements Proven experience in echocardiography, vascular ultrasound imaging, and cardiac diagnostics within an outpatient setting. 3-5 years experience preferred and current registered license with ARDMS and/or CCI. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy related to cardiovascular systems, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing sonography teams in high-volume environments. Proficiency in medical equipment operation including ultrasound machines, PAD machines, PACS systems, and other cardiovascular technology tools.. Ability to analyze cardiac rhythms accurately and perform diagnostic evaluations with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across cardiology, physicians, and leadership.
