With the support of UCLA Cardiac Imaging Medical Director, Operations Director, Manager and Supervisor, the Senior Echocardiographic Technician is an experienced professional with a minimum of three years of direct cardiac sonographer experience and be registered through American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in adult echocardiography (AE) RDCS or pediatric echocardiography (PE) RDCS. In this role you will be responsible for: Performing all 2-dimensional, M-mode, and Doppler studies including Stress echocardiogram, Pharmacological stress echocardiogram, and Transesophageal echocardiograms. Notifying (By Pager) Cardiac Imaging Physicians for any URGENT, STAT and/or Pre-Operative Echo Readings. Preparing preliminary interpretation of those studies. Preparing and maintain records pertinent to echo studies. Performing other duties as assigned and directed by the UCLA Cardiac Imaging Physicians, Manager, and Supervisor.
