Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program Current ARRT (R) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare setting Strong understanding of imaging equipment, radiation safety, and sterile technique Effective communication and the ability to thrive collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures Operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and other specialized imaging equipment Maintain accurate records, patient data, and imaging documentation Ensure all procedures adhere to safety protocols and quality standards Provide anticipatory patient care during procedures, monitoring for complications Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues alike
