Job Description

Job Summary Cardiology Associates is seeking a Cardiac Device Check Technician to join our team in Oxnard & Ventura, California. This role is responsible for monitoring and managing implantable cardiac devices both in-clinic and remotely. You'll be providing critical support to cardiologists by performing device interrogations, interpreting findings, adjusting thresholds, and escalating urgent concerns appropriately. Responsibilities Perform in-person and remote device checks for patients with pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs, and loop recorders Manage 15-30 patient checks daily , including both scheduled and same-day evaluations Review and analyze device data for abnormalities and changes Generate reports and communicate findings to the cardiologist Escalate urgent or abnormal findings immediately Provide clinical recommendations based on device data Educate patients on remote monitoring and assist with setup/troubleshooting Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Qualifications Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) or IBHRE certification required Experience with device platforms including Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Abbott, and Biotronik Familiarity with remote monitoring systems and platforms (e.g., MURJ) Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment Benefits Competitive wage (commensurate with experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and holidays 401k with automatic match Opportunity to work with the premier cardiology group in Ventura County Schedule Part- or Full-time Day shift Monday to
