1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 1+ years of experience in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Details Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab with a dedicated electrophysiology (EP) lab 1:1 patient ratio 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call coverage of 2 weeknights weekly unless working the weekend Weekend rotation of every third weekend Cerner charting system experience preferred Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab / EP Technologist Current BLS certification License required if applicable Trauma Level II experience preferred Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, IABP and Impella insertion, and TAVR Experience with EP procedures such as cardiac ablation, mapping, conduction studies, and AICD/pacemaker insertion preferred Proficiency with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Skills in EKG lead placement, access site prep, hemodynamic monitoring, and arrhythmia recognition PACS experience preferred First-time travelers accepted Additional Information Responsibilities include equipment setup and maintenance, room circulating, scrubbing to maintain sterile field, and inventory/supply stocking Follows isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols Local candidates within a 75-mile radius accepted at a lower bill rate References required for consideration
