Duties:

• Perform diagnostic Cardiac ultrasound examinations on patients
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of internal organs and tissues
• Analyze images and data to determine the presence of abnormalities or diseases
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and make diagnoses
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment

Skills:

• Proficient in medical terminology and able to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of cardiac ultrasound including echocardiogram
• Skilled in performing diagnostic evaluations using ultrasound technology
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, particularly as it relates to sonography
• Ability to accurately measure vital signs and assess patient condition during procedures
• Familiarity with aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during invasive procedures

Requirements:

• Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in sonography or a related field
