Lead Cardiac Sonographer (Full-Time)

Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Responsibilities Leads the daily activities and assignments of the modality. Acts and serves as a resource and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the cardiologists, echo staff, and other departments. Acts as a liaison between their department and referring physician's offices. Will be responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac ultrasound in accordance with IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission). Qualifications An appropriate credential in echocardiography: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Three (3) years of experience in a hospital setting Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
PREFERRED
Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology Congenital echocardiography experience
