Job Description
Overview Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer in Cumming, Georgia. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,691-$1,798 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week.
Shift:
12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 schedule, typically 7:00 am-7:30 pm (schedule varies). This is a travel - temporary assignment in an inpatient, acute-care setting. No local candidates within 50 miles.Key Highlights Weekly pay:

12-hour days on a 12x3 schedule; typical 7:00 am-7:30 pm, schedule may vary Start date: 08/17/2026 Work setting: inpatient, acute-care environment Responsibilities Perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations (including transthoracic echocardiography) with Doppler imaging, acquiring and optimizing standard views Assess chamber sizes, wall motion, systolic function, valvular anatomy and function; document and communicate findings to the cardiology team Conduct stress echocardiography when ordered and assist with related imaging and protocols as needed Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure image quality and patient safety during testing Maintain accurate patient records, apply proper infection control practices, and contribute to quality assurance and continuation of care Collaborate with cardiology physicians, nurses, and technologists to support timely and accurate diagnostic resultsRequirements Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology; registry eligible or Registered (RDCS) preferredCertification:
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) and CCI certification required; BLS from American Heart Association requiredExperience:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in echocardiography/cardiac sonographySkills:
Proficient in performing TTE and related imaging, with ability to interpret and document findings; strong patient care and communication skillsSetting:
