RN - Cath Lab/EP Lab Tech

Job Description

Overview Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Responsibilities Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited a RCIS program Required or Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required or Graduate of an accredited respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology Required Work Experience No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required or 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required Licenses and Certifications Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license . Upon Hire Required or If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however, RCIS must be obtained within 2 Years Required and BCLS -
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and ACLS Upon Hire Required Business Unit :
