1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 12-week interventional cardiac cath lab assignment requiring ARRT, BLS, and at least 1 year of direct cath lab experience. Details Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM On-call required approximately 2 shifts per week and 1 weekend per schedule period STEMI call requires tech to be in the lab, dressed, and ready within 30 minutes of a STEMI page Performs cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, cardiac stent placement, ASD closures, TAVR, and laser-assisted procedures May be subject to floating between facilities within the health system if requested by the unit Requirements ARRT, BLS, and Illinois state license required (license required if applicable) Minimum of 1 year of direct cath lab experience BSN required Illinois license must be in hand at time of consideration; emergency or pending licenses not accepted BLS and ACLS (if required) must be through AHA Skills checklist and 2 professional references required for consideration, with one reference from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the last year Employment history must include any Northwestern Medicine or acquired facility experience, if applicable All requested time off must be submitted with application and cannot be added afterward Additional Information Interprets dysrhythmias and assists with a range of interventional cardiac procedures Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Non-licensed direct patient caregivers not listed as 'Eligible' in the IL Healthcare Worker Registry must complete mandatory in-state fingerprinting at least two Fridays before their start date
