Assists with inventory/supplies.
Checks for correct patient and chart identification, diagnosis, and treatment position.
Compiles pertinent clinical information pertaining to lab, pathology, etc.
Administers medication in compliance with scope of practice.
Documents accurately and completely.
Explains procedure to patient and provides for patient care
Performs on call duties and/or work variable shifts as assigned to meet department needs.
Required to float to all procedural areas.
Maintains a clean and neat work area.
Demonstrates competence in the operation of imaging, physiological monitoring, and related equipment; Performs basic troubleshooting for this equipment.
Able to work around and maintain a sterile field during procedures. Administers and with holds contrast and treatment as appropriate. Assess patients for allergies. Function as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis during procedures. Assists physician during interventional procedures. Able to take call after 6 months of orientation. The Cath/IR RT produces quality imaging and assists the Interventionalist in performing invasive procedures; as well as technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated techniques. Providing care to meet patient needs and handle other duties as required and assigned.View Carle Benefits Qualifications License/Certifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year- American Heart Association (AHA); Registered in Radiography (R)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
- American Heart Association (AHA); Licensed Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities Administers contrast material (when applicable), according to physician's request, by means of existing IV line or by performing venipuncture and placing IV line; recognizes and responds to hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.Anticipates set-up and needs for invasive procedures.
Assists with inventory/supplies.
