Job Description

NON-INVASIVE CARDIO TECH PRN
  • CROWN
POINT LOCATION POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures. The certified cardiovascular technologist will be expected to function independently and demonstrate sound judgment based upon knowledge and application of professional, departmental and organizational principals and standards. Duties are performed under the supervision of the Director Cardiology Service Line and/or the Management Team of the Non-Invasive Cardiology and with medical direction from physicians.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certification from an approved Electrocardiogram Technician Program, or must be completed within 1 year of hire.
  • Current credentials as a certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), or Certified Electrocardiogram Technician (CET) or must obtain CCT/CET certification within 1 year of hire date).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac stress testing, application of cardiac monitors, and 12 lead electrocardiograms preferred, or must complete intradepartmental training within 6 months of hire date.
  • Typing and computer skills in data entry
  • Current BLS certification.
