1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a Level III Trauma facility, requiring 1+ years of experience and Cerner charting proficiency. Details Diagnostic cardiac cath lab setting within a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma facility Average daily caseload of 12 patients 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Call requirement includes every 4th weekend and one late/call shift per week Charting is done in Cerner Potential to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on volume/census Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab / EP Tech required Community hospital experience required Active or pending state license required (must be active by start); license required if applicable BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R certification required
CCI RCIS
certification preferred but not required Cerner charting experience preferred Proficiency in procedural responsibilities including EKG lead placement, sterile field maintenance, and accurate monitoring Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures such as left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and cardiac stent placement Experience with vascular studies including carotid stenting required Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, EP studies, and vascular interventions First-time travelers will be considered for this role Local candidates will not be accepted; travelers must live 50+ miles from the facility Maximum RTO is 10 days; if RTO falls during a holiday, travelers must be willing to work one of the three holidays Previous staff must have a 3-year gap before returning as a traveler Blue scrubs required No parking cost at the facility This assignment is considered a sensitive account due to heightened scrutiny of professional conduct; unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs may result in immediate contract termination
