Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cath lab equipment and ensure room readiness for all scheduled procedures Provide technical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition and patient safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to facilitate seamless patient care Monitor vital signs, assist with patient positioning, and document procedural details precisely Adhere to all regulatory requirements, protocols, and policies regarding radiation safety and infection control Provide compassionate support and clear communication to patients before, during, and after procedures
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology Current licensure or registry (ARRT or RCIS) Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging role Thorough understanding of imaging protocols for cardiac catheterization procedures Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills This contract position offers the chance to work alongside highly skilled professionals while making a meaningful impact in cardiac diagnostics.
