Know Your Team:
The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support. Responsibilities Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures. Monitor and record hemodynamics and assist the physician by scrubbing procedures. Assure proper functioning and troubleshooting of equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology to assist the physicians. Participate in professional development for the advancement of Cardiology Services.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist regsitered by the ARRT. Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
